Abstract Neon Lighting Suspended Within Tate Britain

Suspended from the ceiling of Tate Britain‘s Duveen Galleries is Welsh artist Cerith Wyn Evans‘ latest installation, over a mile of bright neon lighting broken into abstract lines and monumental curves. The piece, Forms in Space… by Light (in Time), changes with perspective, each of the work’s three sections continuously morphing as one walks around the clusters of kinetic energy.
These abstract symbols appear as marked movements in the air, a direct intention by Wyn Evans who was greatly influenced by Japanese Noh theatre and choreology—the practice of turning dance into notational form.

    1. Hi mainepaperpusher! Thank you. Of course, we are for all that can make known our Blog of art.
And we have so many artists to publish, we know a lot, for 10 years of curation.
We admit to being somewhat disappointed by the choice of people accustomed to WordPress.
      Reblogs are almost non-existent !!!
You can easily understand that it is ecclecticism that interests us.
We love everything, in all categories of art. And the post that most interested; Are magnificent Japanese trees; This type of publication should not be confined to landscape, nature.
We love: sculpture, installation, design, dark art, anatomy, painting, drawings, satirical art, surrealism, digital art, macabre and more …
It is a pleasure that you are attracted to a superb neon installation.
So follow us and inform us, if you know WP better than we do.

    2. I am new here, so I probably don’t know WordPress better than you, but I will help you get the word out about your blog. Doing the Sunshine Award is a good start.

Would you consider doing a guest post on my blog? I’m not sure how to make that happen, but I’ll figure it out! I only have about 120 followers, but I know some of them love art, so it might be helpful to you. Let me know, and we’ll make it happen.

    3. Hi,rmainepaperpusher
Well, we are new too, our number of followers is higher; But better quality than quantity.
Here, it feels forthwith if the bloggers of WorPress frequent or not the blogs of art such as ours, as I explained to you: nature and flowers everywhere.
When one knows contemporary art like me, one is interested in everything that is creative, inspiration, concept … and above all one follows trends! We diversify. It’s also a matter of mindset!
I’m sorry, but since I was in partnership: yesterday, I presented your idea of “Sunshine Award”, and that does not fit our code of ethics! Because we can only compete with “artistic blogs”.
I am therefore obliged to refuse your proposal. Anyway, our best publicity is our artistic content! It takes time to make itself known …
If in one year we have not evolved; We will create a blog elsewhere!
I hope you will not feel offended by our refusal! Thank you for thinking of us.
Also, I do not have time to manage the technical concerns and the model of the blog is not chosen, nothing is finalized.

      Thank you
