Lifelike Wire Animal Sculptures by Kendra Haste
Kendra Haste, a contemporary sculptor, works to represent wildlife through her creations made up only of distorted wire. The British artist is fascinated by the way in which a simple ordinary thread can change into such a sense of movement and life, of contour and volume; a contrast
Between lightness and weight, between solidity and transparency, values that she likes to find in her final work.
Since graduating from the Royal College of the Arts in London in 1998, Kendra has acquired a spectacular reputation in her field. His work was quickly presented in collections from around the world. She is also a member of the “Society of Wildlife Artists” based in England and is a signatory member of the “Society of Animal Artists” in the United States. These different groups try to promote the environment through the eyes (and hands) of talented artists. STOP ANIMAL EXPLOITATION
