A photographer has created beautiful pictures showing changing light of sunsets over iconic landmarks in one image.
Richard Silver has snapped the Houses of Parliament, Rome’s Coliseum and the Burj Khalifa in Dubai using his ‘timeslice’ method.
The photographs show how the landscapes transform from daylight hours, to dusk and then night-time.
Overall the artist from New York, US, has shot 38 buildings around the world from Beijing to Dubai and Milan.
Richard said: ‘I wanted to photograph iconic world buildings at sunset and capture the changing light from day to night in a single image.
It takes Richard around two hours of clicking to capture enough pictures – usually between 40 and 60 – to create the finished image.
He puts his camera in a spot where he can capture most, if not all, of the building he is trying to shoot.
Richard takes photos for about 45 minutes before and during the sunset and then for half an hour after the sunset to create the amazing effect.
