Fred Astaire & Ginger Rogers_ Iconic dance partners and others incredible performers!

When the two dancers and actors were paired, Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire became the most famous dancing duo ever seen on screen. As they joyfully diverted American audiences during the Great Depression, they refined their choreographies and techniques finding in each other a stimulating partner. Purely a professional relationship, the duo nonetheless created a charismatic spark on films within which the ultimate classy American gentleman encountered the bold and sexy working-class heroine. At a time when a kiss in black and white was of an impertinent eroticism, Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire simply needed well executed gestures to depict sensuality: ‘Of course, Ginger was able to accomplish sex through dance. We told more through our movements instead of the big clinch. We did it all in the dance.’

Artists deserve respect. Even if it bothers you and you don't like their work; refrain from negative opinions, non-constructive remarks. Opt for an objective analysis of the work as well as a good understanding of the author's intentions..Thx
